Terrorist Attack (Thwarted?)

 

September 11 attacks: the series of four coordinated terrorist attacks launched upon the United States in New York City and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Four passenger airliners, hijacked to be flown into buildings in suicide attacks.

Two planes, American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175, crashed into the North and South towers of the World Trade Center.

A third plane, American Airlines Flight 77, crashed into the Pentagon (Department of Defense HQ), resulting in partial collapse on western side.

The fourth plane, United Airlines Flight 93, targeted at Washington, D.C. but crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, after passengers and crew attempted to overcome the hijackers.

What if MH370 was a terrorist attack attempt which had managed to be overcome by the passengers and crew in a similar fashion to the fourth plane which crashed in Pennsylvania?

What if the plan was to hijack the plane and divert it to a populated western city, for example, Perth, Western Australia?

And that the passengers and crew of MH370 prevented a disaster with the possibility of killing several thousand people?

And if so, what if the terrorists are currently looking for another plane to hijack?

Or--for that matter--what if they are in the process of hijacking another airliner RIGHT NOW?
